Discordance Axis / Capitalist Casualties - Split (Pulp Records, 1994)
It took me years to find legitimate copies of this record, let alone the super limited to 23 copies version that Capitalist Casualties put together. These are live recordings - Capitalist Casualties at 924 Gilman and Discordance Axis on WRSU FM.
Both versions come with the inserts, however the CC version comes with the bonus cover and also has the stamps on the record labels.
HELLO KITTY GRIND.
Discordance Axis - Necropolitan (HG Fact, 1997)
The precursor to “The Inalienable Dreamless”, these songs (and the subsequent full length) still blow my mind.
Discordance Axis / Hellchild - Split (HG Fact, 1994)
Being that Hellchild was one of the few metalcore bands that were pulling off that sound correctly, I was pretty stoked to finally get this split. I love that HG Fact describes this split as “great battle action!”.
Discordance Axis / Def Master - Split (HG Fact, 1994)
Absolutely love the DA cover of “My Neighbor Totoro” on this 7”. The “Gimme Gimme Gimme” cover is also pretty rad. Def Master is really off the wall, but a pretty interesting listen nonetheless.
Discordance Axis / Cosmic Hurse - Split (Pulp Records, 1992)
This is actually a bootleg of the record and also one of my first records ever. I had traded a copy of Dahmer’s “Dahmerized” LP for this to some girl in Florida. The “Dahmerized” LP rules, but I was stoked to get a DA 7”. It wasn’t until a year later or so that I realized it was a bootleg.
Re-Anmiator OST reissued on vinyl. Yes, I pre-ordered this.
At 5:30 PM I’ll be landing in Philadelphia tomorrow. So stoked.
I had to post this.
Love this band.
